Welcome to the Sweet Lips Challenge, starring none other than Tree Thrifty. She got a cute lil makeover, because for some reason she was still a teen in this file. Now shes a Young Adult & her traits are: Glutton, Childish & Romantic. She’ll be romantic alright – smooching as many sims as she possibly can. No family or babies needed in this challenge. Just smoochin’!
She moves into an apartment which I decorate. It’s not much, but its honest work. And she doesn’t have that much money.
First thing is first. Tree dreams of being a chef. She joins the culinary career to get a head start on that.
She also cooks a few meals. Its pretty late, so shes just trying to get her cooking skill up a little bit before she heads to bed.
Its three am before she crawls under the covers, happily single and loving the idea of no children.
When morning comes, she makes herself another bowl of salad and heads off to work.
Promotion! On her first day too! Well, I guess that means we need to celebrate!
By going next door where a certain ex-sage lives. Hes since retired and gone on to have two children. How?
With his wife. We’re gonna play it safe to not ruin their marriage. We just want a smooch after all.
They sit and talk while one of the toddlers wanders by. Thats right, I said one. They actually have twins. The other is playing out in the hall which just doesn’t seem safe.
Simon seems to understand the assignment because he goes right outside his apartment and Tree follows along. She finds out hes a lawyer apparently, in the judge branch (i had to look that up lol). Well, I’ll take the points.
Sorry for the awkward angle. He chose it, not Tree. But flirt accepted. You know what that means!
SMOOCHING time! Simon Silversweater is a Spellcaster, Lawyer & a new (and first) Sim Tree has kissed. That means hes worth 35 points!!
Tree quickly cools their romantic relationship before heading home, super proud of herself.
She cooks some mac & cheese, eats up and heads to bed. Tomorrow she doesn’t work so we’re gonna be on the hunt for smooches.
The next morning she gets up at 6am so she goes to collect some collectibles. They’ll make nice decorations.
Then we spot Caleb. Hello, you’ll do for some nice points!
Caleb: I’m tired of being in your legacies.
Tree calls his bluff and begins chatting him up.
Alexander Goth joins them, but I find out he’s unemployed later on. He’d only give us new sim points so lets see if he doesn’t get a job later on.
Alex: horrified
Tree: We’re literally just holding hands, prude.
Seems like a good time to find out Caleb’s career!
But you know what a little flirting means. Kiss kiss time! Caleb Vatore is a Vampire, works in Fast Food & is a new sim thats been smooched. He’s also worth a good 35 points!
Caleb conquered, Tree turns her eyes to the stand nearby. She opens up their conversation with a flirty greeting.
Sadly this guy is pissed off for some reason and hates when she flirts with him.
Tree tries to apologize but the guy is a major jerk and just yells at her.
Eventually he softens for a regular flirt but then runs off, still pissed off. Oh well, there are bigger fish in the sea.
Like this Vendor! Tree gets some food for her hungry tummy from her and begins chatting her up.
In literally no time at all, she accepts a rose from Tree. Its very cute.
Wiki Savae (I wish I was kidding but thats her name) is a new sim who was smooched and shes a Vendor. Shes worth 20 points! Its getting late in the day but I’m sure Tree can use her hot skills to smooch one more person!
Oh man, if I had less values and it was that sorta challenge, we’d be making babies with Makoa. He is a hot piece of somethin’. As it is, he’ll do for a quick smooch.
Hmm… His career isn’t far enough to be in either of the branches. I don’t know what this means for the points. I’ll have to investigate.
Makoa still gets a smooch. Being a new sim he at least is worth 5 points. I’ll count his career for now, but its a tentative bit of points. He’s worth (perhaps) 15 points.
After bagging a bunch of points for the day, Tree retreats back home and eats behind her new bar. She needs mixology skill to be promoted from now on.
She practices before bed and then again in the morning.
It works out, because she comes home with a new sink from her promotion. She’s level 4 now, I believe. Shes working her way up slowly but surely.
The next day she has to throw a party to get to the next level of her aspiration. She invites a bunch of people shes greeted in passing/works with.
Including a certain werewolf.
Her mom brings… Johnny Zest???
Tree starts off by talking to Wolfgang ( a little on the nose, aren’t we EA?) but then I notice Johnny is flirty. BRB Wolfgang!
Tree greets him and gives him a rose. He accepts without even knowing her. Beautiful.
Another problem with the careers. Hmm, I don’t really know what to do about this?
Either way, Johnny gets a smooch and gives us another 15 points. Sadly the party is over by then and everyone heads home.
Saori: I saw you flirting with Johnny. He’d make a good husband! He even has a house!
Tree: Mom, I’m not getting married. Ever.
Tree runs away to work to get away from her mom’s pushing, and comes home to clean up from the party and vacuum. By the time shes done, shes drop dead tired and barely makes it to bed.
The next day I have Tree cooking up a storm and Raj wanders over wanting to sample some of the goods. He’s unflirty from what I remember, but in a flirty mood so we bring him in the house.
He’s accepting Tree’s flirting so she goes in for the kill really fast!
Ha, hes a chef with her. Hes probably one of her bosses lol
But Raj gives Tree a big smooch and gives her 15 more points! I’d say we’re doing pretty dang good so far! Sadly, Raj thinks too much of this and asks her to be his girlfriend. Tree has to tell him no and hes pissed at her now. Oops.
She was about to go to work and escape him, only I saw it was the Romance Festival. That should make it really easy to smooch some people, so Tree calls into work and heads off to the festival.
She runs to the Guru first, greeting him in a flirty way. He’s helpless to her romantic ways.
In less than a minute, shes laying her lips on his. Toru, the Love Guru gives a fun 20 points!
For funsies, she asks him about her romantic destiny. He tells her that theres a tall, dark and mysterious stranger is waiting for her. Snorting with laughter, Tree is off to kiss more people and not find a stranger to love.
Look at all those people drinking the tea. Easy targets. Of course, why would I choose one of them?
When Kris is here, and looking pissed off?
Sadly, since he is pissed off, he wants no Tree lovin’. Their relationship tanks time and time and again, and Tree gets the hint and gets away from him.
He hates her, yet when she goes to sit and drink some tea, he sits next to her. Make up your mind!!
Tree choose to ignore him and hits up Bret Hecking. She’ll find her way to his husband later.
With the tea in their systems, hes helpless against tree. It just gives her the boost she needs to be completely beguiling.
We find out quick hes a painter. Not high enough to hit a branch though…
Still, hes smooched and we get a smooth 15 points from him!
Wanting to get at least one more kiss before the festival wraps up, Tree chats up Lelia. Sadly shes also a painter, so she won’t bring any points other than what Tree gets for kissing her.
Lelia seems to really like the flirting, though shes married and her wife is at the festival. Oopsie.
A very quick smooch is gained, giving Tree 5 more points. Beautiful!
Her wife begins to stomp our way, looking mighty angry. Oopsie. Gotta go!

Tree makes it home in one piece, without getting her butt beat and quickly makes and eats some food. She’s doing really well on her cooking skills. I expect them to be finished up really quick so I can move onto other skills. I think thats where a lot of the points are gonna be.
Everyday she spends some time in the morning, before work, cooking. Raj comes over and asks her to be his best friend. She hardly knows the dude and says no and he gets upset with her. Theres no pleasing some people.
If shes not cooking (or dodging Raj), she works on mixology. I’d like to max all the cooking related skills first (mixology, cooking gourmet cooking, baking) and then work my way through others.
Tree: Another promotion. Yay.
It means you’re doing good girl. She is at level 5 already, and she started at level one.
After she goes home and makes herself dinner, I notice her TV is broken. Sadly Tree is dead on her feet, so I send her to bed, figuring I can do it tomorrow.
Shes just made breakfast and has fixing the TV next on her list, when she notices the mailman is here. Pause! Time to get more points!
He takes to her flirting very well.
This girl sure can smooch ’em fast. Maybe I shouldn’t have made her romantic. It made it way too easy. Well, anyway, Youseff Mounib is a first timer, whose a mailman. That makes him worth 20 points!
Since she smooched him, he invites himself into her house while she repairs her TV. I snorted a little because it is funny. Tree also chatted with him and found out hes married. Good thing he and his wife don’t work together on their mail delivering skills.
Another day, another few hundred dollars. Since she’s hit level 5 of her career the promotions have slowed down by a lot. She also has the next three days in a row off. Guess theres only one thing to do.
She gives her travel agent a call and books a flight leaving in five minutes. She’s gonna spend her days off having fun and smooching more sims. Who cares if its the middle of winter? This can only go well, right?
But you’re going to have to wait for the answer to that for the next chapter. She ends this chapter just shy of 200 points for kissing alone. She has maxed no skills and completed no aspirations, but soon. Alright, see you next time! Expect more smooching, more workin’ and hopefully some skillin’!
